The Yamaha BB434 is a rugged, vintage-styled passive electric bass guitar that blends classic P/J pickup versatility with innovative modern structural engineering for exceptional tone and rock-solid reliability. Built with a solid alder body, the BB434 features Yamaha's unique 6-bolt miter neck joint, which holds the neck closer and tighter to the body for superior vibration transfer and enhanced sustain, mimicking a true neck-through instrument. It is equipped with custom VSP3 ceramic split-single-coil and single-coil pickups that deliver a punchy, aggressive, and cutting tone capable of holding its own in high-energy rock mixes. The 5-piece maple and mahogany laminated neck provides incredible physical durability and stability against warping. The vintage-style bridge features angled string-through-body loading, reducing string tension angle for improved comfort. It is an exceptional workhorse bass for working musicians.
