Electric Bass Guitar · Germany · Introduced 1984
The Warwick Streamer LX 4 is a legendary German-engineered electric bass renowned for its striking curved ergonomic body contours, articulate active electronics, and lightning-fast Wenge neck playability. Built with an ergonomically carved solid US cherry body, the Streamer sits comfortably against the player's torso while offering a punchy, warm foundational acoustic resonance. The bolt-on Wenge neck paired with a wenge fingerboard and 24 bronze jumbo frets provides incredible physical stability and a snappy mechanical attack. Sonically, it is driven by active EMG P/J pickups paired with a MEC 2-band active preamplifier system, delivering crisp highs, punchy low-mids, and deep growling growl that defines modern boutique bass tones. The patented 2-piece solid brass Warwick bridge allows precise individual string action and intonation adjustment.
