The Gretsch G5622 Electromatic Center Block is a modern double-cutaway semi-hollow guitar designed to deliver wide-open acoustic resonance combined with high-gain crunch control and superior sustaining power. Built with an arched maple body housing a chambered spruce center block running lengthwise through its core, it actively eliminates unwanted feedback while maintaining lively, organic string vibrations. The guitar is driven by dual Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups, which produce a dynamic, muscular midrange tone with sparkling high-end chime that responds brilliantly to overdrive pedals and tube saturation.
