The Gibson Les Paul Classic marries traditional 1960s single-cutaway styling with player-oriented modern modifications to deliver unbeatable sustain, biting tone, and versatile electronics switching. Built with a traditional weight-relieved solid mahogany body capped with a plain maple top, it provides the legendary rich midrange warmth and harmonic resonance that defined generations of rock music. The slim taper mahogany neck profile offers an ultra-comfortable, fast grip that facilitates agile lead playing. Sonically, it is driven by open-coil BurstBucker 61R and 61T humbucking pickups, wired with custom control assemblies featuring push-pull pots for coil-tapping, phase switching, and pure bypass controls. This gives players instant access to vintage PAF warmth as well as bright, snappy single-coil textures. Completed with Grover Rotomatic tuners and an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, it is an exceptional professional instrument.
